Puketoi Wind Farm Project 2011 / 2012
Assessment of the landscape, amenity and natural character effects of a 54 turbine wind farm to be located on the Puketoi Range (defined as a Outstanding Natural Feature or Landscape (ONF / ONL by the Environment Court) in the Tararua District together with a 220 kV transmission corridor to the Turitea substation on the northern Tararua Range. In addition the assessment also covered night time effects, cumulative effects, shadow flicker and blade glint. This work was undertaken on behalf of Mighty River Power Ltd.
